We are here to support your coaching pathway because we know your knowledge, development, and confidence are critical to those same successes in our athletes.
CCFA expects that each coach completes the following courses through US Soccer Learning Center:
- Registration: https://learning.ussoccer.com/sign-up
- Introduction to Grassroots (online): free, approximately 20 minutes
- 4v4 OR 7v7 OR 9v9 Grassroots (online): $25 per course, approximately 2 hours
- Each of these courses include the 90-minute SafeSport module, as well as the Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments module.
- 4v4 focuses on the characteristics of ages 6-8
- 7v7 focuses on the characteristics of ages 9-10
- 9v9 focuses on the characteristics of ages 11-12
Upon completing your registration, introduction to Grassroots, and your selected Grassroots course, you will be qualified to lead an Academy group independently. Each coach who completes these steps and regularly attends program sessions, will be compensated for their time.
To work with the older athletes, coach a team, or simply further your own learning, additional options and compensation may be available upon discussion with Chris and Erica.
